I was born amidst the moody weather of a small town

in the Alsace valley of France.

The most vivid memory of my childhood

is without a doubt the way the light used to

change within the course of the day

and brush the walls of my bedroom.

At the age of six I was handed my first prescription glasses,

before then my visual surroundings were

pretty much a hazy reality.

Throughout the years, the visual medium naturally

became my default way of expression.



In my early twenties I moved to New York.

I currently reside in Brooklyn where I work and have

the extraordinary opportunity to not only

nurture solitude but most of all meet, work and share

ideas with like-minded fellows.



What interests me is the silent narrative of light shifting throughout

the day and the complexity of feelings it awakes in us.

My favorite time of the day is at dusk.
